Look for this logo in local shops and advertisements to know you are purchasing from a business that is making efforts toward a more sustainable and healthy community. That may mean offering natural, organic, or green products and services – or having an environmental impact plan and recycled purchasing program for their office systems. We are all doing the best we can and striving to share our green values, ideas, and style with each other!
The Green Collaboration began in 2010 between Lyn Hicks, Beth Kershaw, and Debi Sarandrea. In 2011 the group became a PA Nonprofit Corporation and held it’s first ‘Speed Networking’ event for green businesses in the Bucks and Montgomery County area.
The GC hosts two local eco-events each year:
Earth Day Festival in April and the Green Gift Fair in November.
We also hold business speed networking events outdoors at Harmony Hill Gardens in Hilltown, PA throughout the warmer season. Email us to join the mailing list for invites to these free networking events with like-minded green-thinkers!
